Dr. Todd Gillingham

Dr. Todd Gillingham

Dr. Todd Gillingham moved to the Bethany area in 2000 with his family from Madison, Wisconsin. His wife, Melanie is on the faculty at Oregon Health & Science University in the departments of Medical and Molecular Genetics and the Graduate Programs in Human Nutrition. Good food that is good for you is a passion of both Melanie and Todd’s. They belong to a local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) organic farm and strive to eat in a local, seasonal, and sustainable way. They have lots of veggie packed recipes they would love to share with you! Todd and Melanie have 2 young adult daughters, Abby and Anna. They enjoy the Oregon symphony, walks on the Bethany area trails, and great local restaurants. Recently, they have been putting their cooking skills to work by volunteering for the Beaverton Family Promise. Family Promise is an organization that partners with local churches to provide shelter and meals for families in unstable housing. It’s been a rewarding organization to work with.

Daniel Berger, PA-C

After twelve years as a solo family practice physician, Dr. Gillingham is looking to expand his practice and access to quality care. Daniel joined Gillingham Family Practice in 2024 as the first provider Dr. Gillingham has hired. Daniel was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and has dreamed of becoming a primary care provider (PCP) his whole life. He had a traumatic eye injury on his sixth birthday and had to have seven surgeries in less than two years. Very early, Daniel saw the impact of caring providers and strives to be that same person for his patients.

Daniel first started his healthcare journey as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at two skilled nursing facilities before accepting a position in the cardiovascular ICU during the COVID-19 pandemic. He worked there until 2022 when he began his physician assistant (PA) program.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys trail running, tennis, and basketball and rooting on the Portland Trail Blazers and Las Vegas Raiders. He also enjoys mentoring pre-PA students and volunteering for career technical education programs at underserved high schools in Portland. Family is number one for Daniel, and he loves working on projects for his grandparents and spending time with his little sister.
